  • 2 x Egg
  • 1 cup of Sugar.
  • 1 cup of canned Pumpkin.
  • ½ cup of Buttermilk.
  • 4 cups of Flour.
  • 2 tablespoons of Oil.
  • 2 teaspoons of Salt.
  • 4 teaspoons of Baking powder.
  • ½ teaspoon of Baking soda.
  • 1 teaspoon of Nutmeg.
  • ½ teaspoon of Cinnamon.
  • ¼ teaspoon of Ground ginger.
  • Sugar for coating.


Preparation Instructions Pumpkin Donuts recipe:

  • Beat eggs and sugar until they are light and fluffy.
  • Add the oil, pumpkin and buttermilk to the egg and sugar mixture.
  • Mix dry ingredients together and add to the main mixture.
  • Chill for 1 hour.
  • Turn out onto a floured board and roll to ½ inch thickness.
  • Cut shapes with a donut cutter.
  • Deep fry until golden brown on one side.
  • Turn over.
  • Fry until the other side is also golden brown other side.
  • Strain well and roll in sugar to serve.

  • Shortening for frying.

  • To the canned pineapple, add lightly beaten egg, biscuit mix, sugar and nutmeg.
  • Stir into stiff a stiff dough.
  • Heat the shortening to 370°F (190°C).
  • Drop dough a teaspoon at a time into hot fat and fry until golden brown.
  • Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  • Dip into sugar to serve.

  • Sift flours, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together in a bowl.
  • Beat eggs lightly and add sugar.
  • Beat more strongly until mixture is thick and lemon colored.

  • Beat well.
  • Add mixture to each donut mold in a pre-heated and oiled donut maker.
  • Bake until golden brown.

One of my 7 year old son's favorite snacks date donuts, below is the Date Donuts Recipe. it's very tasty and savory.

Ingredients Date Donuts recipe:

  • 2 eggs.
  • 2 ½ cup of all-purpose flour.
  • 2 ½ teaspoon of Baking powder.
  • 1 cup of chopped dates
  • 1 cup of milk.
  • ¾ cup of granulated sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon extract.
  • ½ teaspoon of salt.
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground nutmeg.
  • Vegetable Oil for frying.

Preparation Instructions Date Donuts recipe:

  • Beat the aeegs and then n a bowl combine them with the sugar and melted butter.
  • Beat this mixutre well.
  • In another bowl, combine the flour with the baking powder, salt and nutmeg.
  • Fold in the dates and add other dry ingredients to egg mixture with milk and lemon extract.
  • Combine both mixtures together.
  • Heat oil in deep-fat fryer.
  • Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  • Drain on paper towels and cover with sugar to serve
